Yes I'm selling things, no you don't have to buy
I'm rethinking "I love it and you have to buy it"mentality.
We live in a very consumerist society.
We have influencers everywhere.
We have access to so much.
And we can always be buying.
I love that we have access to buy a lot, we can choose the food we eat, clothes we wear, and how we decorate our house and none of that is inherently bad.
We can get on Instagram or Facebook (I refuse to ever get on TikTok so I can’t speak to it) and start to build a brand and sell products. The access to building a business and finding an audience is incredible. I love it.
All of this access to info and products does open us up to a lot of people telling you that you NEED to buy things, they love it so much, and your month or vacation or bedtime or mealtime or life won’t be complete without what they are selling.
After being off of posting on Instagram for almost a year and unfollowing a lot of people, I’m less susceptible to buying what people are selling on Instagram. What I am going to do is share what I’m using, what I bought, and how I live my life. And I will share links and maybe even start promoting more things (who knows).
But the bottom line of what I want to communicate to you is that I want you to only buy what you need and what you want to try. Nothing I share is a must-have. Nothing I share is the magic cure to all of your symptoms. Or the only thing that will get you to make that big change in your life. Everything is just a tool. And the tool may be right for you. Or may be wrong for you. It depends on the season, your mindset, your budget, etc.
So feel free to never buy anything from me, that’s ok. I am here to share health info and am trusting God wholeheartedly for my business and what the next season looks like. No pressure from me and I’m happy to have you here following along and listening to what I have to say.
